Our Old Maid in Michigan jumbo playing cards are a new twist on and old classic! The whole family will enjoy playing this fun game while learning a few things about the Great Lakes State.  Each Michigan themed character was hand illustrated by Artist, David W. Smith, who worked for some of the top Advertising Agencies in Detroit. When the economy took a turn for the worse, David lost his job, his home & car and found himself homeless, living on the streets of Pontiac. David is 55 years old and has worked for some of the largest Ad Agencies in the Country. He has created story boards for Vlasic, Chrysler, Chevrolet and many others. When our economy took a turn for the worse, David lost his job. Eventually he lost his home and car. David had been homeless for over 2 years. In July of 2014 David walked through the doors of our Mitten factory, suitcase in tow, looking for work.
